What security does the Abilis platform offer?

The Abilis platform integrates the most advanced IT infrastructure. It is hosted on Swiss territory in a highly secure environment.
Abilis holds ISO 27001 international certification in security and information processing, GoodPriv@cy, but also that of the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

How does Abilis protect my personal data?

The Abilis platform is hosted in data centres situated in Switzerland. The Ofac group benefits from several decades of experience in the area of processing and protection of sensitive data, as confirmed by the ISO 27001, GoodPriv@cy and DPCO certifications obtained since 2009 and which are renewed every year.

Can I use my IDP on other portals?

Yes, your IdP will, in the future, be recognised by other secure Web platforms who have previously recognised and integrated the Abilis IdP technology.

What security is used to access my Abilis health file?

Abilis has retained trustID, a solution provided by ELCA who is a reliable and powerful provider of digital identities including strong two-factor authentification. This initially consists of verification of your identity performed in an Abilis pharmacy as well as attribution of a temporary password when joining. It additionally consists of account activation, password creation and finally authentification of your machine.

What is an IDP?

An Identity Provider (IdP), is a system which allows secure access to the Abilis platform by strongly and unequivocally authenticating users who log on.

Who can see my data?

You are the owner of your data. No exceptions to this rule are justified. Insurers do not have access or reading rights to the data displayed in your Abilis digital health file.

In order to guarantee transparency for the patient, Abilis provides consultation history which will allow you do consult the list of health professionals that have accessed your medical data.
